Born in Salinas, CA and raised in Tijuana, Mexico, Humberto is a graphic designer and illustrator based in San Diego, CA. I Scream Colour was born in 2010 when Humberto made his Instagram account.

“It was Summertime and I thought of the saying "I Scream, you scream, we all scream for ice cream." Since I love bright colours, I decided to go with ‘I Scream Colour.’”

Since 2010, I've been posting my drawings on Instagram every day and I've noticed how my art style has changed all these years.

90s and 2000s pop culture has remained Humberto’s inspiration since he started posting his art everyday in 2010. Although his art has evolved throughout the past 13 years, the underlying theme has remained nostalgia.
